Shopping for a little one this holiday season? I have great ideas for outdoorsy kids, gift ideas for adventurous kids, and camping gifts for kids. There's something for any little boy or girl in your life.
Blu Track Classic
We bring this race track everywhere: camping, on roadtrips, and it's also great in the house. It attaches to a car or windows through a suction cup, and it gives kids fun for hours. It's a little pricey for how simple it is, but it gives hours of entertainment, so well worth the money.
Magnatiles
You really can't go wrong with Mag
natiles. They last years and years and kids never seem to tire from them. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
Gifts under $100
Yoto Mini
If I had to name my absolute favorite toy or product for kids, I would name the Yoto Mini without question. Yotos are low-tech audiobook players with few bells and whistles, which is perfect for entertaining kids on long car rides, airplanes, hikes or just chilling at home.
I also like to buy Yoto Cards for stocking stuffers.
Woom bike
This is a big ticket item for sure, but it's another one that's worth the money. We bought the Woom 2 as our first son's first pedal bike over 5 years ago, and its been used for our second child and now our third. They're lightweight, great for learning to ride, and hold up well to sell when you're done with them.
We bought the Woom 3 recently (the 16 inch bike) and plan to move up to the Woom 4 once our daughter is big enough. They're really great bikes.
Lovevery Toys
If you have to shop for a newborn through 4 year old you have to shop for, you really can't go wrong with Lovevery toys. They even have subscriptions so the little one in your life has a gift that keeps on giving.
Handheld Microscope
The Miniscope is such a cool thing to take along on hikes or have the little one in your life explore in the backyard. This is a million times better than a magnifying glass--it will show the microscopic little details of bugs, plants, or anything your child wants to see closer.
Melissa and Doug Wooden Ice Cream Counter
My daughter loves her ice cream scoop shop. It's something that kids gravitate towards and they never get sick of.
National Geographic Rock Tumbler
For the rock-loving child, a rock tumbler is a super cool gift. They can smooth and shine your own rocks and gems that they find out in the wild.
Wood Widdling Kit
This is definitely for the older, mature, and coordinated kid. Spark a new hobby in your child with this wood widdling kit. These knives are incredibly sharp and can make some very cool things.
Giro Helmet
Helmets are something you don't want to skimp on. We have a Giro helmet and love it for our daughter. They're quality helmets in great colors.
Bike basket
This is the cutest bike basket for your little one.
Trick scooter
Our oldest graduated to a trick scooter that he takes to skate parks and jumps off curps. It's really fun and a great skill to have.
If you have a little one (at least a year old) the Micro Scooters are great starter scooters that last.
